Something to Do/Kuch To Karna Hai is a book about a girl named Aditi. She is three years old. In this book there is no introduction but they tell a lot of stuff about her like—she likes to sing, she likes to dance and she likes to play on the swing all day.

One day Aditi is going on a trip to see her grandmother and every time the bus stopped she kept asking why. This reminded me of a book called The Why Why Girl. The bus kept stopping near interesting places and it is good to ask questions but why ask only ‘Why, why why’? She could have asked, How are the things made?

We think they could have ended the story in a better way. We feel the story should have included what happened after she reached there.

Aditi also writes: The pictures were very nice and the story was interesting and easy to read, but I felt the story was incomplete. It would be nice to have some more information. Or a next part, like what they did at Grandma’s house. This book will be nice for a 7-year-old child. Now I have a few questions for you. Is there really something called a Traffic park?  And if Aditi was only three years, how could she have so many questions?

Haleema also writes: Why did the bus keep on stopping? How can we have so much traffic?

Aditi Koushik is 10 years old and studies in Valiants Academy, Bangalore. She loves animals especially dogs, and learns Bharatanayam.
